Allen's Story
I never thought I would see any of you again, not for any other reason, but because I changed my name. Thanks to technology, I've been found:) From Page School (where I suffered a horrible experience at the hands of a school leader) I was going to go to West Point so I could go to flight school, but it turned I had this inner ear thing that precluded me from becoming a pilot. So, I went to the other extreme and went for RockStar status:) I'm proud to say that I raised a family and bought a home while playing Heavy Metal as a lead guitar player (not easy, HA! Mr. Kraft, the man who told me my dream was stupid; fooey on you). I've been blessed to see the world and experienced more than I can write about. As a result, I've lived many lifetimes, and yes, all the stories you hear about being on tour in a band are true. I went back to school for Marketing and Biz when I was thirty years old and married like a dummy (kidding) that lasted for 25 years and I have one beautiful son named LOGAN. He's lucky I didn't give him my original last name, happily divorced I embarked on new ventures and worked as an Audio Engineer for years, then Artist Relations...Expand for more
for many more. I was lucky to have worked with most of my favorite bands and artists, a list too long to write. After doing that for many years I decided to change it up and now I am a Project Manager for the entertainment industry. Other than the birth of my son, another major milestone for me was being a part of the USO and performing for our troops overseas, an amazing experience to say the least. Now in my 50's (which i hate), I pass the gauntlet to the next generation of F%&#ed up kids in the hopes they will do better than our generation did. The jury is still out on that, I am glad we didn't have the tech we do now, we would have never left the house or hung out with friends. I have thought about many of you over the years and often wondered who went where, or who is still alive for that matter. If you remember me and we were cool, please reach out and say hello, and let's catch up on life. I wish you all the best, and to those I may not have been great with, my apologies (maybe you had it coming, maybe not) I now reside in North Hollywood, CA and things are good.
