Allen's Story
Life
I moved out to the Seattle area in 2003 to enjoy a more cosmopolitan culture and to dedicate more of my life to my art, specifically my drawing and my music (I play bass guitar). I've been a printer since 1994 and I hold two degrees in art. I bounced around Minnesota a bit in the 90's, as the job market dictated until a good friend of mine convinced me to go west. 40 below, six-month winters and all the fun that goes along with it. I never married and don't have any children.
The last twenty years have been an experience to say the least on both sides.
I currently play bass guitar in a band, do a lot of writing and drawing, and I've been working out for the last twelve years. Now I look like a bouncer (brutish chap, ain't I?) Sheesh. I need to slim down. I've been attempting as well to find a market for my illustrations from certain publishing companies.
