Allison's Story
Several years after high school, I married Mark Addis who I had dated for all of my senior year. We had two fabulous sons Dillon, born in 1989, and Justin who was born in 1990.
I went back to school at Anderson College when the boys were less than 2 years old and became a math teacher in Anderson. I enjoyed teaching so much that in 2001, I returned to college. In December of 2003, I completed my education when ...Expand for more
I earned my master's in technology in education. Everything was going smoothly, or so it seemed.
Then in Feb. of 2004, just two months before I was to participate in my graduation for my master's degree, I had a heart attack while teaching. My life changed as I new it in an instant.
Since that time, I have divorced Mark, returned to Abbeville, had 2 other heart attacks and am enjoying life to it's fullest.
