Allison's Story
Life
After graduation, I went to Clarion University as a Bio major until 1997. I then took a year off from school and lived in Singapore working in the Singapore National Zoo. When I returned, I transferred to Cornell University where I graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science in May 2000. After Cornell, I worked for about a year as a research technician at Charles River - Argus Research Laboratories, a reproductive & developmental pharmatoxicology lab outside of Philadelphia. the Neuroscience Drug Target Validation department at Lexicon Genetics, Inc. I got married in Maui on February 12, 2005. It was a gorgeous wedding! I loved Maui! I am currently living with my husband Scott. We have a crazy, but beautiful Siamese cat named Simon, and a loving Aussie Shephard-mix dog named Merlah. We just recently purchased our first home, and I am now attending UTMB in Galveston, TX to get my master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies. I graduate in December 2007, at which time I will take a certification exam in order to become a certified Physician Assistant.
