Allison's Story
Howdy fellow classmates of 76' and all others of course. This is the year we turn the big 5-0! I just can't believe I am writing this at the age of 50! Yes I already had mine. Matter of fact I will be 51 this year. My life has not been near as interesting as sooo many other's I have read on here. It has been simplistic. (My choice) Those that know me know that I was kicked out of Sunny Hills for being pregnant in my sophomore year. I gave birth to a healthy baby boy in July 74 at the age of 16. I then went to La Vista in 75 and ended up graduating that year. I worked my ass off in doing so, at the time I felt like I had something to prove. (Like unwed teenage mother graduates high school) LOL!!! Anyway a year or so later I met and married Ed Mosley. We followed a dear friend of ours up to a little mountain town in northern Ca. Population 1,200 at the time. We ended up having an additional 3 Son's are (my oldest) Eric, A teacher with a masters and married also to a teacher with a masters, living in Orange County, They have a daughter Katie Ann. Katie Ann has a little brother Andy. I am "Granny" to them. Then I have Travis, and living in the same town as I . He has sole custody o...Expand for more
f his son who turned 8 in January. I am "grandma" to him. Then I have my 3rd born. Troy born at 6 months and 1 week gestation. This miracle baby did a 16 month tour in Iraq. I am very proud of him. He is 26 years old and got married to a wonderful woman. They make their home in Orange County also. And then I have my young one. Hunter E. who will turn 23 in May and also lives in this town. In October of this year it will be the 13th anniversary of my husbands death due to cancer. At the time 3 of my boys were still under 18. But we made it. 4 years ago I met and remarried. I still live in this town.
That is about it for my life. However 4 1/2 years ago I broke my knee and because I could not get around my husband bought me a scroll saw to give me something to do.With that I found this to be my true passion and am now starting to make money by selling my projects. This was the one thing in my life I wish I could have found 35 years ago. But I am thankful I found it at all. My husband made me a shop and this is what I do.
I would love to hear from anyone that I knew. I absolutely LOVE this classmates site as I have found SOOOO many of my old friends!
Happy 50th to the class of 76!
