Alma's Story
Life
Alma Owen, was Watson, maiden name Dekker
graduated from north surrey high in 1965
went to work in a bank
got married, had 3 children, promptly divorced after 4 years
went to simon fraser, attained a teaching degree and taught school for 11 years (grades 6 and seven)loved it! Taught at Fleetwood Elementary and Grosvenor Road Elementary
moved to Victoria, went to university of victoria and attained a bachelor of fine arts degree ...Expand for more
in theatre (just for the pure joy of doing it)
Unfortunately I had to pay for that "pure joy" therefore now work at an office job (but did quite a lot of stuff involving theatre)
Got married to my long time partner in 2000
Now on the verge of retirement I am enjoying 3 grandchildren and look forward to doing other things.
(that's it in a very small nutshell)
Now living on a boat in one of the Bays on Vancouver Island. Enjoying life!
