Alta's Story

Life Am currently working for the United Nations in New York, and have been here since 1998. I work in humanitarian affairs, travel a lot and was working in Sri Lanka after the Tsunami in 2005. I have a 29 year old son, Cory, who lives still in Vancouver where I also lived from 1978 to 1998. sis. My favourite project was ReliefWeb.int, a humanitarian website covering emergencies and disasters around the world. I am very active, as I said, travel a lot, and enjoy running, hiking and yoga. Plus, being in New York, do all the usual cultural things especially when I have visitors. Am most fond of the art galleries. Not married anymore. Tend to be rather independent. A bit focussed and career oriented. Lots of energy, entrepreneurial and creative.
