Alta's Story
Life
I just turned 69 and life is good. I live in rural northern Calif. in Redwood Country next to the Ocean. I retired about four years ago after 30 some odd years working in Social Work and counseling. I had two marriages and four kids and grandchildren. About four or five times a year I drive to S.F. and visit family. The family home is still on Bernal
Heights. Mom is still with us and is now 87. I'm general happy.

Living in Alameda is returning to a place I lived 22 years ago. Mom passed away at 92 yrs. The old house on Bernal Heights was sold in 2008 for a wicked amount of money. My brother died ( hisneame was Roger) in a boating accident some years ago. So, I now find myself the oldest in my extended family. Most of my children living in CA from San Rafael to Fresno with an outpost in ID.
Life is good, Health well not so but I'm hanging in there. Alameda today in its 60's sure bets Idaho in it low 30's.
