Alta Carole's Story
After graduation in 1958 from Dixie Heights Erlanger,Ky. I attended UK ext. summer of 58-59 also went to work at Albers grocery just above Dixie. I married one of the butchers that worked there, Fred Von Gries we had 2 children Jerry and Breanna. Fred and I divorced in 9/66. married Harry Robertson Jan14, 1967 we had a girl, Melissa, Harry drown while working on the bridge fron Ohio to Newport, Ky.in 1972. Married Charles McMillin had a daughter Dana, divorced. Married Ted Burkhart in 1974 no children. lived in Elkhart, Ind. Moved to Phx. Az. 1978.Divorced. ry Thalmann for 23 years he works for the city of Phx. I'm retired after working 40 years in the health field. I have 6 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren and the 4th on the way.
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding some years back when my mother told everyone I was dead. I'm very much alive even though I had 5 cancer Surgery. I have Graves Disease and mild case of Myasthenia Gravis., on O2 24/7 but I can still kick a__ when needed.
We are preparing for Gary to retire ,he has worked for the city of Phoenixthirty years. But his body is begining to show wear and tear.His last day will be June29th 2012. Thanks for all the notes I've recieved from classmates at Dixie Heights.
