Alva's Story
I'm 80 years old and will be 81Aug 25. I can't believe how fast time flies. We live in a condo in Port Charlotte, Florida, and we keep busy , walking , dancing at Elks and Moose lodge. We can walk to everything here. We are across the street from two hospitals. I can go to my doctor across the street, and dentist is two blocks , as wellas bank and Barbour. A grocery store and shopping center two blocks away. It's a beautiful area here 31/2 miles to Punta Gorda. About 10 miles ...Expand for more
to beaches. We have a large pool and hot tub . We are on 5th floor with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths livin, dining rm combined, laundry rm, kitchen, beautiful grounds. I'm with my third lady now I was widowed twice, now we just cohabitate. We are very happy, she is widowed and from Milford, Ct. We met at a garage sale. Today is her Birthday 81. We took a tai chi class at senior center, and I've taken Spanish conversation classes there. We go to concerts , plays. And dances there also.
