Alyce's Story
Life
I married my high school sweetheart, Robert, on June 1, 2002. He attended NMMI and graduated in 1997 as well. He works for Qwest, and we were transferred back to Roswell from Las Cruces in early 2003. It's nice to be home. I currently teach 4th grade at Berrendo Elementary. I have also taught 6th grade at Berrendo Middle School and Valley View Elementary. I received my master's degree from Grand Canyon University in 2006. My husband and I just had our first child, a son named Eric, in April of 2007.
College

ents Row. I am an alumna member of the sorority Alpha Xi Delta- Theta Omega, which I am a colony member of. Started teaching in Sunland Park right after I graduated, but I had to resign and move back to Roswell when my husband got transferred here in 2003. I got my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Grand Canyon University in May 2006.
Workplace
I love teaching and couldn't have picked a better career. I taught third grade at Desert View Elementary in Sunland Park, New Mexico right after I graduated. In 2003-2004 I taught sixth grade at Valley View Elementary here in Roswell. That end of that year they moved sixth grade to the middle schools, and I taught sixth grade at Berrendo Middle School for four years. I now teach fourth grade at Berrendo Elementary.
