Alyssa's Story
Workplace:
I started my law enforcement career as a 911 Communications Technician. After about 1 1/2 year I received the honor of Communications Officer of the year. I then left the 911 center to further explore the law enforcement field. I completed the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and graduated as a certified law enforcement officer. I then worked as a Deputy Sheriff on the road patrol to serve and protect the citizens of Colleton County. I left the road patrol and went into the School Resource Officer division. I served in the capacity as the School Resource Officer Supervisor. I am currently employed with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office as a School Resource Officer. I have a genuine love for people and it shows through my daily activities. I have received numerous accolades for my service to include the citizens of Colleton County, the City of Goose Creek, and the State of South Carolina.
At this time, I am seeking the 2024 Office of Sheriff of Colleton County. A candidate ready and willing to bridge the gap between law enforcement and our communities. The candidate with a genuine love for people, their safety, wellbeing, and justice for Everyone.
