Amanda's Story

Life After NV, I went to OSU, partied a bit, graduated and moved to Seattle with my to-be husband. We got married in 1998, honeymooned in Italy and Switzerland. We now live in Bend so we can ski ski ski and do other fun outdoors stuff. I have 2 dogs, no kids, and keep very, very (way too...) busy. I currently work for a 1031 exchange company 0- which is handy since we invest in real estate. I used to work at Boeing on Web projects and for the Corporate Venture Capital organization and previously, I was at UW as the Marketing Manager for Executive Education (I know, I know - a traitor working as a HUSKY!). Just out of college I worked at Milgard Windows in corporate marketing. My husband and I invest in Real Estate and it...Expand for more
's also our hobby. We buy and remodel old homes which we then rent out or sell. Currently we have 3 such "projects" underway. I love to travel, especially overseas, and would love to live and work in Italy. I am currently learning the language, so hopefully someday... My parents have purchased a bigger piece of land (150 acres) and moved to Glendale to build their dream house and continue ranching. My sister, Karren, has moved there from Seattle with her 3 kids and husband to be closer to gramma and grampa. My Brother, Eric, lives her ein Bend with his wife Allison and new baby Mariel. I still talk to Susan (Kartes) Morgan on occasion. I hope to see everyone at the 20 year reunion, not many came to the 10 year gathering.
