Amanda's Story

Life In Emporia now, enjoying the heck out of it. I'm staying pretty busy but make it back to B-Town quite a bit to do some work or catch up with my family. I've recently changed majors and I will be attending Maple Woods CC in KCMO next fall to do Veterinary Technology! I'm pretty excited about the change and really look forward to working with animal every day, I think it will be the best for me and those of you that know me well enough I'm quite sure can really see me in this field more so than teaching! School I can't really say I miss High School at this point. I've realized how quickly people changed ...Expand for more
after they got out on their own, some for the good, some for the bad. I'm very happy with how my life is now, and I wouldn't go back to High School for anything! I certainly don't miss all the gossip that we lived through- nor do I miss the fights or arguements. I have lost contact with a few people I do miss, but most of the class that I drifted apart from I knew it was coming so I can deal with it. Definately miss sitting in the hall in the morning senior year pissing off the freshman towards the end of the year. Don't miss the ugly green lockers. Really don't miss the Hall Nazi! Do miss the laughs though. :) AmA
