Amanda's Story
Life
For those of you who remember me from California and do not know, i moved to Washington during the Summer of '03 for my Senior Year. After graduating from Kentridge in '04, I got a job at Walgreens (where i'm still at now..). I went to Florida for the LCMS NYG that summer with my church youth group, and not long after I started school at Highline Community College, where I started to study Interior Design. After Fall quarter, i wasn't doing too well so i took a break from school for the spring in the summer. Then, I worked full time. Exciting...I know :-P This past summer, I participated in my sisters wedding (where my "NOW" picture came from). I started back at school in the fall for interior design, but have now decided that it isn't really going well for me, and am going to change my career path. I've pretty much decided that I am going to work in a department store, working with cosmetics. Much like what i do at Walgreens now, but on a much larger, better scale. But that's if I decide that's what I'm actually going to do...:-P
School
I'm supposed to spill my funniest, happiest, and craziest school memories here! Ha ha! Well, high school certainly was an interest...Expand for more
ing experience....I had a really rough 9th grade year, and i'm sure most of my closest friends know why, but I don't like to get into it and tell most anybody. :-P My favorite memories from Patterson involve the Stanford trips. Those were the BEST! Augh, and of course those Apricot Fiestas, were we, the "marching band" had to go prance around in 100 degree weather! I remember falling down and scraping my knee a few times...lol then going over to Rachels house and not wanting to lift my pant legs up and show her my bleeding scar so she could bandage it just because i hadn't shaved my legs that morning! I had some of the best friends down in Patterson, and i miss them bunches!! But i loved Kentridge too. I honestly absolultely LOVED being in the pep band/wind ensemble there! Canada trip = GREAT TIMES! Football games...like the Halloween game we played at, and i stuffed a couple of balloons up my sweater!! And I remember the only time, in my entire High School career ever getting in trouble from a teacher!! Mr. Wimer! Over something so stupid, but i'll never forget it simply because i would NEVER get in trouble! Even though i wasn't that good of a kid!!! Ah, I miss everybody!!!!!!!
