Life
Ok, so not much exciting in my life right now.LOL In 2002 I moved off the Island and went to College in Alberta to study Horse Training and graduated 4th in my class in 2003. While I am not training currently I am working in the local Animal Shelter here in Kitchener Ontario where Jeff and I now Live.(He moved here when I left to go to College, and I came afterwards) While we are not yet married (Engaged but not married yet..) and don't have any children, we have lots of furry kids.LOL Turbo the basset hound was first, then after that came my 2 cats I had before I left Kamorah and Aiko. I then got into exotics (Sugar Gliders specifically) and in the last year and a half have brought the glider numbers to 10 (with 1 last one on the way in a bit). We also have 2 ferrets. Both rescues, one from the shelter and one from an owner who could no longer care for him. They are Sprocket and Wingnut. I have made myself somewhat of a business with my gliders, and have taken to breeding rare colors and selling toys and stuff specifically for the Sugar Gliders. I have sent gliders and the various stuffs to folks here in Ontario and also to the states. the local shelter and while it is hard on my heart sometimes the job is so very rewarding.
Jeff and I are doing great, and while it's hard to be so far from family and friends on the island we really love being on our own. He is working in an Oil refinery and while he is looking for another job currently he doesn't hate it, he is just bored. He's having a blast helping out friends with their cars and helping family rebuild a '69 something or other classic so that's fun for him. He is also doing his own business thing selling insurance..I know it sounds boring but hey, he meets lots cool people and makes pretty good money at it so why not? :-) We got engaged while I was in College, and are in no rush to do the actual marriage thing, I figure we'll prolly get a house first and then go from there. It's over four years we've been together so whats another year or two? LOL We try and get home as often as we can but MAN, it is so expensive that it is way less often that we would like. That is where we'll get hitched though, since most everyone we know and love is there still.
I think that's all that's interesting for now, I hope everyone we knew in school is thriving and loving life. I wish every single one of you the best of what life has to offer...
