Life My Spouse Ted, my husband, and I met sometime during our sophomore year of college. I was attending Loyola University at the time and he was attending the University of New Orleans. We met through Circle K, a collegiate service organization that exists on both of our campuses. We did not begin dating until the summer before our senior years. Ted proposed to me in October 1999 during "Ladies Night" at the popular Uptown bar, Madigan's! My Pets I have a cat, Bloomer, which I adopted my senior year of high school. She is a fat, furry little black and white cat. I also have a large dog named Dean; he is extremely goofy. He is part lab and is tan with black markings. My Children My son, Trey, was born on November 16, 2001 and weighed in at 7 lbs. 7.4 oz. He is now almost 2 years and growing like a weed. He's extremely intelligent and inquisitive, so it is really hard keeping up with his quick mind and even quicker body! My Job I work for DynMcDermott, the company which manages the US Petroleum Reserve, as a Document Control Specialist. I get to write daily, which is very satisfying. I plan on returning to school for some graduate work in a year or two. I want to look into journalism or technical writing as a lifelong career.
