Amanda's Story
Life
I'm still in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada (a/k/a Winter-peg)where this past January I had the pleasure of experiencing -50 degrees Centegraid first hand. (note to others living in normal climates, you are missing nothing) My daughter is now 7 yrs old and in the first grade. I myself am entering into my 2nd year of university studies. I changed my major from sports medicine to psychology last term and I am well on my way to graduating in May of 2005. I will have completed my stidies in a total of 2 years :-D.
School
While I attended DHS I was very active in the academy and traditional school. I was an athletic trainer for all 4...Expand for more
yrs for various varsity and junior varsity sports. I was also in the marching band as a flag girl my 11th grade year. I played junior varsity basketball my 10th grade yr as well. I graduated with honors and also as a member of National Honors Society as well as a member of National Beta Club.
College
I first attended High Point Universty immediately after graduating. I was majoring in Excercise Science/ Sports Medicine I left school when my daughter was born. In 2002 I returned to University in Manitoba, originally to major again in Sports Medicine but eventually changed my major to psychology. I am now in my 2nd year of study.
