Lynn's Story
Life
After graduation, I left for Winston-Salem, North Carolina to attend Salem College. After two years there, I decided to take a year off, then return. I returned this past fall, but the experience was not a positive one. I'm now attending Surry Community College, where I'm majoring in nursing. My plan is to get my RN, then pursue a masters to become a certified nurse midwife. I want to nurse on the labor and delivery ward until I get my nurse midwife degree.
I work at Forsyth Medical Center as a medical unit secretary on the neurology floor. I love working in the medical setting, but I've learned really quickly that it's not the place for me. I can't deal with the dementia as...Expand for more

I am married to John McIntosh, the guy I was dating when I left Salem. He's the greatest. We're moving into a bigger place right now, due to our most recent addition, our son Logan Connor McIntosh. He came into the world on August 23, 2003. He weighed 8ls, 1oz and was 19 inches long. He has a rich brown color of hair, and the most beautiful brown eyes. He's my whole world, and I find myself pushing to the limits to make a better life for him. He's an angelbaby, and I wish all of you could see him.
