Amanda's Story
College
After graduating from FPHS, I earned a BA from the University of Alabama. While in college, I was active in Gamma Phi Beta sorority (Sunshine Chair), Epsilon Sigma Alpha (Pres.), Habitat for Humanity (Sec.), SGA, etc. I am working on my MBA through SNHU's online program. I just got married on 12/2/06 to the love of my life, Mr. Bryan Alexander!
Workplace
I'm working as a Procurement Agent at TVA. I love my job! I guess you could say I'm a professional shopper! LOL!...Expand for more
:0) I work in the IT Contracts group, managing contracts for TVA's desktops, servers, printers, MFDs, software, etc. TVA is a great place to work...wonderful co-workers and excellent benefits. This has nothing to do with my Art History major, but since I like my career so well and I can't even compete for a job in my major without at least a Master's, I'm planning to work out a retirement with TVA first. (meanwhile, I'm working on my MBA...that TVA is so graciously paying for!)
