Ame's Story
Life
I currently own a home in the Zionsville area and live with my husband Jim. I work in Human Resources which I enjoy. I do not have any children, just a cat and a dog.
School
Well, lets start from the very beginning. I went to Avon Schools k-6th Grade, then to Twin Lakes in Monticello Indiana for 7 & 8th. I then went to Tri-West in Lizton for all of H.S. See my college bio for the rest of my school info.
College
I went to Marian College in Indy for 2 years and transferred because my major there was too theatrical and ended up getting my BA from IU Indy (aka IUPUI). Though I did transfer, I still was involved with much at Marian, parties, social gatherings, get togethers, campus events, etc. all throughout my college career. I like to say I went to Marian all 4 years, I just took classes at IUPUI. College was the best years of my life, I met the greatest people and had the greatest time. nds are from college...and Meghan, she was from work at Molloy, but you get the picture. My one regret was maybe giving up one night of drinking a week for one night of studying...that would have given me one night of studying a week and maybe I would have gone to class more...but you know what, I graduated with a 3.0 in my major, barely went to class and learned a lot about everything, so no regrets. "up to it, down to it, F**K those who don't do it, we do it, cuz we're used to it, drink mother F**ker drink!"
Workplace
After getting my BA in Communication Studies/HR & Marketing concentration, I worked for a company called Media Pulse briefly to get my foot in the door. After that, I worked for J.F. Molloy and Associates for 3 1/2 years as a medical claims examiner, auditor and trainer in order to get benefits experience for my HR career. I then left there in August of 2004 to pursue my HR career as a Benefits Specialist at Celadon Trucking Services and am now at Adesa, Inc. doing Benefits in the HR dept.
