Amy's Story
I love life here in Brentwood - just north of Livermore, where we have lived since 2001. I have been married to my husband, Andy, since 1995. I have a step-daughter, Jordan (6/86), and two of my own Elaina (born 5/97) and Madelyn "Maddy" (born 3/99). I stayed home with them but started my own business a few years ago in insurance and most recently estate planning.
Before moving here, we lived in SJ for 6 years. Prior to that, and from the time I graduated HS, I was in Chico, where I met my husband. (Now my stepdaughter is attending Chico State and she is a Junior)
After HS, I went to Chico State. Graduated in '91 (BA Poli-Sci/Pre-Law). Then went to law school at Cal Northern School of law. Did the night school deal and worked full time to pay my way as a paralegal for 4 years. Got my J.D. and passed the bar -(gave...Expand for more

Business: I run my own business helping my clients with their estat plan documents needs such as trust, wills, powers, corporations, etc. I work from home so I can balance being a mom and an entreprenuer. It is a lot of hard work building a business but very rewarding.
In my "free time" I volunteer as a driver for Meals on Wheels, am an Ambassador for our Chamber of Commerce, and am a leader for two Junior Girl Scout Troops for each of my girls... cookies anyone???
Other than family, my interests include interior decorating and painting, reading Bronte and Austen novels as well as children's adventure series. I have discovered and am majorly hooked on Yoga. I also enjoy hanging with all my stay at home mom neighbors, playing bunco, golf and enjoying life.
