Amy's Story
Life
I live in Hartford, CT and am interested in all types of outdoor activities (hiking, gardening, camping, fishing, etc.) and absolutely love to travel! My husband John and I try to go someplace new and exciting every year if we can. I am also a stepmom and enjoy all the fun stuff that comes with having Maggie (11) in my life.
My parents and brother (and family) all still live in OC. I come to visit every 18 months or so, but not a frequently as I'd like. Especially given the gosh darn snow out here. Why is it that I moved away ...Expand for more

Workplace
I worked at Tufts University near Boston from 1990-1998 in the Student Affairs area. In 1998 I moved to Trinity College in Hartford, CT so that I could be the Dean of Campus Life. (Both are highly selective private liberal arts schools.) I love working with college students. In a way, I have never left college and I really enjoy that lifestyle. I may not "party" anymore (well, not what college kids consider "partying"), but being part of a college community as a administrator/faculty member is tons of fun!
