Amy's Story
Life
Married with one daughter and working at a law firm.
Historically:
Graduated UH in 1992; BA in History & BS in Political Science
Activities during College: Model United Nations, Marching Band (trips to Hawaii & Tokyo, Japan) and Society for Creative Anachronisms (Medieval and Renaissance re-creation)
Married in June 1994 to John Forsyth
Teaching internship 1994-1995, GPISD
Left teaching to work in the Main Library at UH
Daughter born on Thanksgiving Day 1997
Separated August 2000
Returned to teaching 2001-2002, Crosby ISD
Divorced September 2001
Not happy with teaching, I took a year off to spend time with my daughter and determine a new direction for my life.
June 2002 began dating Brian Heiman
May 2003 began work at Fulbright & Jaworski as project assistant assigned to a department head.
July 2004 Married Brian Heiman

I'm still at F&J;
Brian has become a member of our church and very active in my daughter's school.
We have been renovating his house for the past two years; work is nearly complete and we should be moving soon.
My daughter just started 3rd grade at the oldest ...Expand for more
parochial school in Houston. She also just started piano lessons, sings in choir, and takes drumming and dance classes in after school. She's an avid reader -- she's half way through The Hobbit (which I didn't read until middle school). She'll be a 3rd year Brownie Girl Scout this year.
Regarding Family Highpoints and Interests:
Mom is still active in Girl Scouting, altho0gh she has more trouble getting around;
Dad has mellowed quite a bit and has trouble getting around too.
My oldest nephew is married and has a daughter and son;
His brother has had problems in his life, but is trying to get things straightened out.
My niece is working on her PhD in Physics at Berkeley and her boyfriend is working on PhD is Astronomy;
Her oldest brother is attending Texas State in San Marcos and working towards a degree in Music Production. He won a State art competition with a nice award;
Their youngest brother will be graduating from high school soon; he is a wiz at musical instruments and plays in a band that has a regular gig at a church and occasional gigs at teen clubs. They won a battle of the bands competition.
