Amy's Story
I have had many titles and careers since I was 12 years old, but this one is new for me, "Disabled". Five years ago I fell at work and herniated the two disks that in my opinion are the worst to injure. I worked for a few after, but it continued to get worse and made my Fibromyalgia impossible to live with everyday.
My wonderful husband, John, agreed that I needed to slow down and stay ...Expand for more
home to get better. I haven't that as fast as I would like to, but for those of you who know me, patience is not a virtue I know well.
I am not disabled, but my body is. I lean on the Lord everyday to get me through and I see a lot of doctors. I know one day I will be better. For now though, I enjoy my husband, my pets--Gracie, our dog, and Charlie, our cat--and my parents and friends.
