Lemley's Story
I will be ready to kick the bucket when: I can't enjoy romance, fine wine, good food, a good book, good friends, and travel.
I spend too much money on: books and music.
I am a lawyer practicing at Foulston Siefkin LLP in Wichita, Kansas. Our firm web site is foulston.com. Last year I was voted one of the top 50 women lawyers in Missouri and Kansas, and have been in best lawyers for a number of years. I am the only female member of the Kansas Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, which is a peer selected group of trial lawyers. I have co-authored an article for the Defense Research Institute on women in the courtroom. I am the team leader of the general litigation team at Foulston Siefkin, which is the largest law firm in Kansas. I try complex litigation cases and tried what is thought to be the longest medical malpractice case in Kansas history, which involved a nine and a half week jury trial. In September, I go to Toronto to be inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers.
I am presently on the board of directors for the Wichita chapter of the American Heart Association and am involved in volunteer work with that organization. I am a past chair of the Mental Health Association of South Central Kansas.

hotography, traveling, and cooking. I am passionate about animal rights and historic preservation. I collect art pottery, quilts, vintage samplers, and Mata Ortiz pottery. I have two lovely koi ponds and an extensive lily collection in my yard. My last great trip was a two week trip to Rajasthan in India. I hope to go to Peru this year. I play Everquest 2 in what little spare time I have at the computer. I also just got back from a Whales and Wilderness small ship cruise in Alaska; the whales were absolutely awesome.
My current German Shepherd, Loki, is from Mittelwest Kennel in Bolingbrook, Illinois. He is named for the Norse God of Mischief, and I was having a true psychic moment when I named him.
I also have a rescue dog, Noble, who is part Catahoula. He is a very sweet dog.
I love being a partner at my law firm, which has branch offices in Overland Park, Kansas, and Topeka, Kansas, and I love being independent and self-sufficient. As the T-shirts say: "Life is Good."
I wish I had more time to: write fiction, travel, take photography workshops, and scan all the stuff I save to scan and end up throwing away.
I have no idea how old friends remember me. I hope they remember me as a good listener and a hard worker, with many varied interests.
Please email me, I love to hear from old friends.
