Amy's Story
Life
After high school, I went to Arizona State University. I went there for my freshman year but decided it wasn't the right school for me (although I loved Arizona). I transferred to a small school in Virginia (Mary Washington College...now known as University of Mary Washington). I graduated in 1993 with a degree in Political Science.
After college, I worked in and around DC for about 5 years (teaching government and civics for a non-profit and working for medical associations). Raleigh, NC and lived there for almost 4 years. Since grad school, I have worked in the training field (designing and developing learning solutions for various companies).
I left Raleigh in 2004 for a job in Orlando, Florida. I currently work for the mouse (Walt Disney Parks and Resorts). Through all my moves, I've had my great dog with me.
I haven't been back to Maryland in almost 10 years. All my family left there over 10 years ago and once I left the DC area I haven't been back.
I've only stayed in touch with a couple of people from high school but would love to hear from those with whom I've lost touch.
