Amy's Story
Life
Well, life is okay. I have great friends and we have tons of fun. I'm still live with my parents and that's great since it's more money for me. As you can see I'm back to be a brunette now from being a blonde for years during high school.
I didn't finish college but I'm hoping I can go back to UNO come fall 05 and perhaps get my accounting degree.
I have a mad passion for movies and music. I think it's partly because I worked at a movie theater for three years. I got the lucky chance to be an extra in a movie last spring so when Kate Husdon's movie "The Skeleton Key" comes out look for me in the bar scene grooving to The Rebirth Brass Band.
School
I have to say I'm one of those people who really enjoyed HS. The unpleasant memories are far and few. Which is great cause you always hear that HS was the worst time of some people's life.
I honestly have few regrets. I just wish perhaps I would of tried more things other than Dance Team. Not that The Teddybears weren't great, just something more to tell people now.
Ohh dance team. I've wanted to be on that squad since I was eight. When I was attending a Bonnabel football game when my older cousin played. So many of memories are connected to the The Teddybears. Band practice after school having to adjust to being part of the Bruin Band. Hey, it was great for me since all my friends where band geeks. Football games, competions, Mardi Gras parades and summer dance camp all of it was fun. Despite drama come senior year and strange chance to be Dance Team President. I know I wasn't a great President but I tried my best and sometimes that all you can do.
Well, I should wrap this up. I have fond memories of HS -- Ms. Bates (nails and lack of a class), Pep Rallies where the class of 99 always had victories. The few dances I did attend. Mrs Russell(world & us history), Badoucha (french), Leonard (danceteam/math), Baradrito(fine arts), Micheals(english), Sabier(english), and H (band) thanks for giving me great memories and a wonderful education.
Workplace
I work for Rosco Distributors, Inc. a heavy equipment parts company in Kenner. We resell parts for overseas companys. It's your typically office job but it's good money.
I still work at the Clearview AMC Palace 12 in Metaire on the weekends. To be honest I'm only there for the free movie tickets. ;)
No, seriously I have tons of friends there and it's really great place to work. You can always catch me on Friday nights and Saturday mornings.
