Amy's Story
I'm every student's worst nightmare...I create tests! As a Director of Assessment, I've created thousands of tests for several major educational publishers over the past twenty plus years. I'm testy-- and proud of it! My other passion is theatre--both attending Broadway and performing off-off-Broadway. I've appeared in over 60 plays, two TV shows, a commercial, and numerous web and independent film projects. I've played everything from a drunk to a five-year-old to a seventy-five year old Holocaust survivor...Expand for more
. I love doing accents-- British, Cockney, Irish, German, and Italian. But the most fun was appearing in two musicals with my son and daughter. After living on Long Island for over thirty years, I moved into Manhattan with a cat who carries spoons around in his mouth, and his sister who has never met a cabinet door she couldn't open and sleeps in the bathroom sink. I still want to be a writer when I grow up, but for now manage to slip my writing and some really mediocre poetry into unsuspecting reading tests.
