Ana's Story
i went to college in marycrest l, later teyko, came back to teach after graduation, married a oy from iowa, joe wakeland, and went to li ve in mexico, got a masters degree there, in creative writing, then came back to panama opened a high school in business , bilingual, went to europe, for a year, sold the school, and went back to the states got three degrees, came back to panama to work in the panama canal co. became director of womens programs, and advisor to the administrator of the canal, concurrently b...Expand for more
ecame a full professor of education, psychology and english, then became a politician, and was appointed as an ambassador of panama in central america and south america. i am happily married to joe, and we have been very successful, my mom is still alive 96 and my aunt mercedes also. my dad died, and we still live in panama city which is becoming a great tourist place. i hope to get to communicate with somebody even people who graduated later on, but would prefer to see who is alive after so many years.
