Life
Andrea Vassar has 16 years of experience as a professional educator. For the last 6 years, She has been an Art Specialist for Hillsborough County School District. She also has worked for 3 years as Adjunct Faculty and is now a full-time Instructor here at IADT working in Digital Photography, Media Arts, and Graphic Design Departments. Doctoral Candidate in the Ed.D. in Instructional Technology and Distance Education program at Nova Southeastern University. She has been lucky to have a well-traveled life and has lived in many countries around the world including the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, and Peru. She moved to Tampa when her son, Mike, was just a baby. They have lived here for the last 12 years. Drawing, painting, and jewelry design are just a few of the many creative pursuits that Andrea enjoys.
