Andree's Story
Life
I am living in Sacramento with new husband whom I married on Valentine's Day last year, my two children Shaun and Shantel and my two stepchildren. All our kids are teenagers and all play basketball so we keep VERY busy. My daughter, Shantel, signed with UC Santa Barbara for a full ride scholarship to play ball. She'll major in marine biology. I am so proud. Watch for her on TV next year.
I WAS working in the financial industry, worked my way up to management and was making great money but realized it just wasn't for me, I didn't like making the rich richer and beating up my staff. I had major burnout. So I quit and went back to school. I'm getting a Master's degree in Care...Expand for more
er and School Counseling so I can help kids figure out NOT to go in to something that "just isn't them." :o) After that, I'll apply to UCLA for a PHd program in the fall of 07. It's nice to have a husband that lets you get away with anything!
Currently we live in Sacramento but we're hoping to get back to Southern California where the weather makes SO much more sense to me (too many extremes in Sac.) My husband is a software engineer (yes, I married a geek!) and he does most of his consulting jobs in southern cal so he's gone most of the week.
That's about it for me, lead a pretty boring monotonous life and I love it that way. I am happy to just sit back and watch my kids grow.
