Life.
My Spouse.
I was assigned to Luke Air Force Base in 1971 and met her through a mutual acquaintance who noticed (at the same time as I) that she had the best set of legs on the dance floor in Mr. Lucky's. Married her in 1999 (We were engaged on Valentine's day 1972 but I went to defend democracy before we could be married. When I came back [six months later than scheduled due to Mr Nixon and other considerations] she was marrying the mailman [her story: if I'd written more she would've waited longer. My story: If I'd written more she would've fallen for the geek earlier...] I got the heck out of town as quickly as the Air Force would let me and married a nice German a couple of years later. When I returned to Phoenix in 1998 we were both recently single...Expand for more
. I still had the torch burning. We were finally married in Scottsdale on the 12th of February 1999.

My Pets
Nose plugging sneeze generators but the kids love them and Shelley loves the kids so I'm not allowed to do much about either...
My Job
CAREER CHANGE!!! Someone told me that the Government would provide me a good job with security and a retirement and all I'd have to do was show up. I now know this to be just about as true as me saying "I'm here to help you. . ." I really miss teaching.
May 2016: I'm now a "full time" telecommuter. Still working for the FAA but doing it from my office in the house in Glendale AZ. Woo Hoo!!! Keeping it interesting. . .
I may just stay in the workforce
