Andrew's Story
Life
After graduating from GHS, I headed to Sante Fe College. In 1993, I moved to Tucson, Arizona and lived there until the beginning of 2009, moving back to the Gainesville area. I am an insurance broker specializing in individual and group benefits. I travel back to Arizona for business on occassion. I enjoy vacationing on the California coast, Las Vegas, Mexico, Europe, and the Carribean, when I have the chance. I am glad to be back home in the Gainesville area. I live in a little town called Melrose where I have a great historic log cabin on a lake, with some acerage, and two barns, one of which I have converted to my wood shop. I build custom furniture, mostly from reclaimed and salvaged wood and pallets.
I have a beautiful son, Cole, who was born on June 7, 2009. He was born in Gainesville, but unfortunately now lives back in Arizona with his mother. I hope my son will join me back in Florida one day soon.

Workplace
I have been an insurance broker since 1994, and started commuting between my Arizona and Florida offices late 2007. I am now primarily located on the east coast with my main office in Gainesville, Florida. I am the Owner/Broker of Levy Insurance Services, which is an insurance agency specializing in individual and employee/group health, life, and disability insurance, as well as supplemental insurance benefits. I enjoy working with companies to represent them and provide for their insurance needs, as well as offer the best benefits with the most affordable premiums. The insurance business is always changing and presenting new challenges, which keeps my interest. There are always new thing to learn. I love the social aspect of working with others. Specializing in employee benefits affords me the ability of working with business owners, human resource departments, and their employees.
I stay busy serving on several non-profit boards and get great pleasure volunteering my time and expertise. I am proud to return to the communities that support me and keep my business prosperous.
