Andrew's Story
Aryeh Chaber was born Andrew Gordon Chaber on March 14, 1952, in Westchester, New York. He was the son of Morton Chaber and Caryl (Peyser) Chaber.
Aryeh was afflicted with polio as a young child. He began playing piano at the age of four and later studied classical, pop and jazz. In 1986, he used synthesizers to explore music for healing which is used in hospice work.
He left college to pursue his career in music and sound healing and adopted his Hebrew name of Aryeh David. Aryeh has toured the US...Expand for more
and Canada, sharing his music at numerous seminars, conferences and churches. His 1999 CD is entitled Love’s Whisper.
Aryeh has a son, Jonah Livermore, who was born in 1998 and lives in Portland, Oregon.
Aryeh lived for many years on Kauai, Hawaii until he returned to Ashland, Oregon in 2014. He passed peacefully from this world on May 17, 2019. He is remembered and appreciated by many friends in Ashland and on Kauai.
