I didn't actually graduate from Baker, just went there more than anywhere else. Those who knew me well knew I had great problems at home with my parents. I left home a month and a half after my 16th birthday and spent a year in the Ohio court systems as a ward of the court. I was granted emancipated youth status on a Weds. morning in July of my 17th year and left with no looking back. I spent time traveling the country and settled in San Diego, Ca. where I finished my GED and attended Mesa Community College, receiving a Certified Medical Assistant degree, and meeting the woman who would be my wife for almost 30 years. Worked in some hospitals then the lure of BIG easy (yah, right) money called me to the oil fields of North Dakota and Montana. I caught the last 8 months of the boom and was stranded in North Dakota when it ended.
