Andy's Story
Life
Where do I begin? After Riverside HS, I went to college at Miami University, and after my freshman year I joined the USMC Reserves. I spent my last full year of college living in Luxembourg and France, and travelling throughout Europe. I graduated with a BA in International Studies.
After I graduated and returned to the USA, I spent several years not really doing anything productive, just partying and trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. In a way, I was on strike, like John Galt.
In 1996 I moved to Vermont for the summer. Great state, but not much opportunity for me at the time. Then in August of that year I moved to Colorado, and I've been here ever since. I love it here. First I was working in the garage door industry, then I worked on a dude ranch for a while, with a few odd jobs here and there, in between.

In 2001, I started law school at the University of Colorado, in Boulder. Although it is one of the top party schools in the nation, I, for the most part, did not partake, seeing as how I was married, and had been there and done that to a sufficient degree during my early twenties. I studied hard, and graduated number five in my class, and I landed a job with a small law firm in Grand Junction, Colorado.
I did that for about eight months, and I totally hated it. Then, I got hired on at the DA's office in October of 2004, and I've been here ever since. I absolutely love it, even though the pay is not so great for a lawyer.
In August of 2005, I became a daddy to a beautiful little girl named Liberty. She's my pride and joy.
So all in all, things have turned out well for me. I would love to hear from my old friends and classmates.
Update: In August of 2008, my family moved to Port Angeles, WA, where I am a stay-at-home dad for the time being, while I await the results of the Washington State bar exam.
