I live with my 13 (going on 16, lol) year old daughter out in the country on an acre of land (that I am continually working on, ha). We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and some other pets. We have some fish aquariums and koi ponds too. There is always something that needs to be done around here. Right now, I'm trying to get stuff done outside before the weather turns bad. I lost a whole month out of the summer. From July 17th (when my best friend and the father or my daughter passed away), and then I was very ill for 3 weeks, and was practically bed-ridden. My daughter's dad and I had not been a couple for 11 years, but were still the best of friends. Explaining why we were no longer together is a story for another day. I love going for long walks. I especially like walks on the beach, in the woods or down to the river that's near my home. I adore the ocean. I would love to have a beach house there. It would be awesome to be able to go deep sea diving too! Most of my world surrounds my daughter (of course). She means everything to me. I would do anything for her. We do have our share of problems though. Probably like any any parent of a teenager I guess. But that stuff's too personal to be putting in here. Besides, it would take about 20 pages and 5 hours to put in writing everything about our relationship. lol. I adore my Siberian Husky (Destiny). I just wish I could take her on long walks with me. But being the breed she is, she loves run and pull, pull, pull. I've tried to train her, but she just won't stop trying to drag me down the road! lol. I can see why they make such excellent sled dogs. Very strong, fast and never seem to run out of adrenaline. So she only goes on shorter walks with me. I love to work in my yard and do flower gardening, landscaping, etc. But it seems like there's just not enough hours in a day to get everything done, you know? rofl. Summer is my favorite season. The days are longer (I can get more done outside then, haha). Plus I love the sunshine. Just being outdoors makes me happy. Unless, it's 90 degrees out or something. Then I'm not quite so happy. lol. The Spring is my next fave season, (when the flowers start to grow, and the trees begin to get their leaves). Then Autumn, then lastly, Winter. I'm actually sort of torn between Spring and Fall. Fall is beautiful too. Christmas and Halloween are my favorite holiday's. I love going all out and decorating for them. I enjoy chatting with a few of my friends on Facebook, whom I've never actually have met in person. I wish we lived closer together so that we could do things together. Something, anything! lol.
