Angela's Story
School
Well, school was an always changing process for me. I started school in Missouri at Whiteman AFB. From there, our family was transferred to Offutt AFB, and I went to a school off base called Bertha Barber Elementary. Then I transferred to Fort Crook Elementary in the middle of 1978. From there I went to Field Club Elementary in the middle of 1980. I went on to go to George W. Norris Jr. High in Omaha. WHEW!!! That's 4 scho...Expand for more
ols in just 4 years! Dad then got tranferred to Okinawa & I went to Kadena High School for about 1 month while we lived in the TLQ. I transferred to Kubasaki High School & attended there for about 2.5 years. In my sophomore year, we transferred to Kirtland AFB and I ended up at Moriarty High School where I graduated in 1988. Eight schools in a period of 13 years (including kindergarten) is a lot! But not for a military brat!
