Angela's Story
School
School? I liked elementary school. It was such a small place and people were much more friendly and attached. of course that doubtless had nothing to do with the fact that I attended a rather isolated and insular elementary school in the country I'm sure. I hated middle school and high school and see no reason to ever really revisit those times. I came away admiring and even liking only less than a half dozen people, "the best years of my life" they were not and I feel horribly sorry for those people for whom these were the best years. So many more things of interest, impact, and import were to follow that i can't imagine why anyone would ever delude themselves that that small town school with aspirations was anything other than the a small town school with unrealistic aspirations.
College
Remember my "unique" roommate? Well I was that unique roommate. Let me see: there was the time I ran off my roommate, there was the bible pushing sign language fanatic who only listened to disney songs that I convinced to move back home, there was the RA I nearly gave a break down to, the security guard I had a brief fling with who nearly lost his job, and the Millikin Alternate Reality Association that I help raise only to promptly sink... Oh and Sarah, remember that night...oops this isn't dear penthouse... Millikin was a big disappointment for the most part, not at all what a college should ...Expand for more
be but I did manage to party a time or two and eat pizza from the anorexic girls' garbage cans to make it a somewhat authentic and not stilted experience...
Workplace
How has my work life progressed? Well I started in college working for the cafe and when I moved back home I went to work at an escort agency answering the phones. Boy college english lit doesn't prepare you for that one does it? The cash was great! But then I went legit and got a job at AAA in customer service. I am now the one customer you never want to meet because I've worked both sides of the counter and i won't accept bad service for any reason. After AAA, I worked at a cadillac dealership and learned the scamming art of car sales. From there it was a natural leap into advertising and their scams in selling everything else. But the advertising firm did give me a good grounding in AP/AR and HR work as well as sales so I moved on to become the office manager at a small sleazy sales office. I left there after discovering my more genuine calling - which is selling tickets to arts patrons across the country and figure modeling. I love being naked in front of cute college art students who are all focused solely on me! Having a child is putting the kibosh on modelling for a bit, but we'll see what happens. Eventually I will be self employed with my spouse doing art restoration and conservation and naked by appointment only.
