Life After high school, I went to Clemson and got my teaching degree, but getting a job in the area was nigh on impossible. So I started working at Clemson and have been here ever since. I'm halfway to retirement now. I got married in 2000 and divorced in 2003. Remarried now with one stepson (who is almost 4) and am very happy. Was diagnosed with ovarian cancer about two weeks after my divorce was final. My current husband and my family went through all of it with me; the surgery that left me unable to have children, the chemo which left me bald (not a good look for me!), the infections which landed me back in the hospital..etc. I can say though, that getting married while bald is the best way to go...you leave your hair (wig) with the hairdresser about a week in advance and you have no worries because your hair will be perfect in every picture!
