Angela's Story
Life
Oh my, what a journey it's been since high school! After spending two years at Bentley High School, I spent the rest of my high school days at Stevenson, graduating in 1987.
After graduation, I worked several short-term jobs before landing a job at an engineering firm where I was to meet my husband. I was married in 1991, and we had children soon afterwards. I now have two boys, 12 and 8, and I enjoy being their full-time, at-home mother. Unfortunately, in 2003, my marriage ended in divorce. It was a very sad experience, and something I never expected to happen to me. Still, it's taught me some very valuable life lessons, and I wouldn't be the person I am today without any of the experiences I've been through along the way.

assmate from Bentley and Stevenson, Neal Shifflett. We met at Bentley when I was 14 and he was 16, when he sat in front of me in an American Literature class. I only intended to write him a friendly email to say "hello", but it's turned into so much more than I ever imagined. Neal is an amazing man, and we quickly found out that we share the same morals, values, and interests. He's everything I've ever dreamed of, and I'm very much looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him.
Who could ever have imagined that life would take me in such a wide circle, ending up with someone I met some 20+ years ago, in high school? I'm just very grateful it has.
Update - May 2006: Neal and I married in July '05 and we're living our "happily ever after". We're even expecting our first baby in November. :)
