Angela's Story
Life
Well, after I left SSHS I went to Edmond High school and graduated from there. I completed one semester at OSU and then left for the Navy. i was an HM1/E6 in the Navy, my favorite duty station was Naples, Italy. I am married with two children and retired from the Navy. I am an instructor at a local college. It's just a part time job but I love it. For now I am just enjoying being home one summer with my kids. Next year, I will go back to working full time,maybe :) I hope to wo...Expand for more
rk for a nonprofit group providing career counseling. But, I may go back to school for my master's in Public Administration. I'm just taking things one day at a time and enjoying this new chapter in my life.
Military
20 years in the Navy was a great experience. It allowed me to hone my management skills, and I learned a great deal about the medical field. I would recommend the military to everyone. Where else do you get free training, free college, and retirement after 20 years!
