Childhood: On a farm in Michigan.

Following a fabulous teaching career in Eugene, Oregon and being able to enjoy each day with incredible students.... I am now enjoying retirement, volunteering and pursuing adventures in the Eastern US. I moved to PA to help care for my parents, who are now both deceased.

other major setbacks, In November of 2011, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer which has metastasized to my bones. I feel fortunate to have wonderful treatment and to be surrounded by or in constant contact with dear friends across the USA. As one who has lived alone most of my adult life, my friends have become family to me.
I feel incredibly blessed and thankful to the Lord to have met so many amazing people in my life, and to have the opportunities that have been presented to me.
