Anita's Story
I graduated from Lafayette High School in 1977. Went to college at Highland Community College and graduated from their in 1979 with a Associate Degree. From their I tried a year at Missouri Western but that was it. I went to work at Heartland Hospital for a few years & then moved to Kansas City. Went back to school & got my Licensed Practical Nurse. a Work Comp Specialist for Favorite Nursing Agency.
I have a 23 year daugther is a the almost perfect child. She graduated from UMKC in 2009. Played 2 1/2 years of college basketball. She currently the head basketball & volleyball coach at Cristo Rey KC Catholic High School. She will start her teaching career their in the fall of 2009 and also start the master program in education at Avila University.
