Anita's Story
Life
I moved out of my mom's house right after graduation to live with a boy I met on the highway while driving on my way to a music store. LOL. OK. Seriously, after a year in college where I quickly lost interest in continuing the regimen of early up, early down, and studying in between, I joined the military where I served my country and enjoyed the freedom of little to no BIG responsibilities other than myself. While in the military, I served during the Persian Gulf War (Desert Shield and Desert Storm) on the Hospital ship the USNS COMFORT. rrassed people and interrupted their dinner and family time for almost 4 years. Then, I decided I needed to go back to school. I went back to study medicine. I soon realized that the sights, smells, and feeling of touching cadavers and bloody somethings was not good for my weak stomach, and decided to stay in the medical field, but, only now in an office/administrative capacity. During this time, I had 4 children, all girls, married and divorced their father, and now I am a single mother struggling...and still studying.
recent update: December 2010, I graduated college. Degree in Computer Information Systems.,Major in Math and English.
