Ann's Story
Life
I am a 3rd grade teacher and my students do give me plenty of challenges that I face head on. I enjoy teaching.
I have been living in VA for about 19 years now.
I am divorced, and doing well. I have lived in Colorado, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
I do travel extensively during the summer around the United States. I have been to at least 22 states so far.
I just came back from Ireland and looking to return back to Ireland and make my way to Hungary in 2020.
I have written several poems and had several publsihed through the library of congress.
School
I remember being the odd one in HS, being in the City Volunteer Corps and wearin...Expand for more
g the uniform. But I look at that back fondly and was truly glad I had joined and became a leader in the City Volunteer Corps. Today I still volunteer and work to help my community, one person, one day at a time.
It was hard to stand alone and proud, but I did and I am proud of the person I became.
As for HS crushes, I had my share of them, and now that I am writing this I wonder how they fared in life and hope that they wil come to the HS reunion, when we have one.
I graduated from Queens College with a B.A. in psychology and child development. I have my M.Ed in elementary Education. I have a Ph.D in education.
