Ann's Story
Life
I went to elementary school in Coolidge,then to Cross Plains, then moved to Ferris (Jr.Hi) and then to Mart (Hi School).My husband, Bobby Jones, went to Kimball High School.My dad,John Harper, was the Methodist preacher in all the towns we lived.He passed away November 6, 1985. My little sister was Kay Harper, who graduated from McGregor High School. She passed away July 21, 1991.
As of August 31, 2006, I became unemployed-had to close my beauty shop,Salon Kay,(Which my sister, Sue & I named after o...Expand for more
ur little sister,Kay) and stay home taking care of my mom full time. She has congestive heart failure and is a diabetic.
I have two children, Rebecca 31, and Thomas 29.
School
I would do things differently if I could go back.
Workplace
I started out in banking in 1968 and in 1991 I started working as a cosmetologist. I owned my own beauty salon, Salon Kay,(named after my deceased little sister)from 11-7-1994 until 8-31-2006. I am presently staying home taking care of my Mother who lives with me.
