Ann's Story

Life My Spouse In Greenfield, California, at Greenfield Elementary School where I had my first teaching job at the age of 40. He is my second husband. My Pets Dog, Spreckles, is a hand-me-down from co-workers of my husband. She is a cross between an Australian Sheperd and a Queensland Heeler, which means she specializes in jumping the fence and running away. Midnight, black, and Snowball, not white, are a brother and sister feline act, who's favorite pastime is going in and out, one in, one out. Midnight can sense a lap from 100 feet away. Snowball is our $500 cat, sort of a feline knee replacement wonder. The four fish are 2 catfish...Expand for more
and 2 goldfish, and what can you say about fish, except that they bubble and know when it is feeding time. My Kids My son is the miracle and wonder of my life. Who expects to have a child at 41? We were not doing anything special, just the usual stuff, and hadn't planned on having children or not. He is smart, good-looking, trying to master the saxophone, artistic, yeah, I hear you now, blah, blah, blah. My Job Hey, I teach 8th grade social studies, doesn't that say it all? Oh, and I teach journalism one period a day, yearbook and school newspaper. I love this age group, but they have no manners. Where did my age cohort go wrong?

Today would have been my mother’s 88th birthday. It was a complicated relationship. I would like to thank her for my love of reading-she kept me in books and library cards (though she didn’t read much herself), encouraged,
I am a woman!! I build; I don't tear down other women! I have felt the pain of being torn down, and I have decided I will be deliberate about building others up! If I didn't tag you, please don't be offended. I tried to pic

Taz is MIA. Guess not only does he like being an only cat, but the only pet. The search is on.
Meet Sherman, the newest member of our family!
Not a contour drawing, one of my pen and ink drawings. Who recognizes this place?
