Life
I've been married to John Mottern for 27 years this July 21. We have 2 sons, Jason (24) and Ryan (21). Jason is a graduate of Tarleton State Univ. in Stephenville and has recently relocated to Kingsland, Tx. He is an assistant manager at the WalMart Supercenter in Marble Falls. Ryan is a junior at the Univ. of Oklahoma and is a member of the OU baseball team. John is a partner in the Herrington family insurance business here in Palestine along with my younger brother Bob and I am a first and second grade PE teacher at Southsid...Expand for more
e Primary. I have been a teacher for 32 years and have taught a variety of subjects and at several different levels. I started out as an athletics coach and eventually moved down to the primary level as my boys became old enough to participate in sports. I've seen a lot of games and traveled many a mile to watch them play over the years and it looks like I've got a ways to go yet with my youngest, who is a very promising pitcher for the Sooners. I'm very proud of both of my boys as they have become fine young men with bright futures.
